As part of a little set of personal projects, I wanted to make various assets from the FPS Tactical Shooter VALORANT. In this one, it is the throwable poison orb of one of the characters which has a little bit of animation. While I didn’t rig it, I think that I was pretty faithful to the look of the object based on the limited source material out there.
It was modeled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter and animated and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
